Plans for the future
Ahead of the trend
The Pestana group has been expanding for over 35 years and has no reason to slow down now!
There are new hotels opening this year (including the brand new luxury Pestana Chelsea Bridge hotel in London - our first in the UK). There are also new Pousadas opening all over Portugal and more hotels and sites have been purchased for development and renovation to be opened in the following years, including our first hotel in Miami USA to be inaugurated in 2010.

Golf courses may take some time to settle and develop but with our policy of building courses and buying existing courses (then upgrading the maintenance) we can assure our loyal members and players that not only will their selection grow but the variety and quality will continue to excite all levels of players.
Working in conjunction with recognised names like Nevada Bobs we are upgrading all our academies and have already enticed companies like Taylor Made and Calloway to use us as their exclusive partners in Portugal.
Conversations with the PGA and the Golf College (UK) have also lead to new ideas that you will see filtering down into the daily golf schedule over the next year.

And of course the upgrading of facilities at the Gramacho/Pinta resort continue to expand and this year will see a vast array of new amenities and resources added that will make this the number one choice for all those interested in golf and outdoor pursuits.
